Your world has a
commodity that is rarely found in the universe. The harvesters are here
and they don't have your interests in mind. There is opposition and if
you can get off the planet you might be safe
Multiple generations have been born and
died , a few have had what they were looking for. There is an aspect in
this world that makes it valuable to those that know how to reap the
rewards.
It is a society that has imported a religion to control the
masses because if you can control them then the harvest goes up. If you
are lucky you will get your own planet.
